Robert Sackville West, Director

Robert started Toucan Books in 1985. Since then, he has built up Toucan's reputation as one of the best packagers of illustrated reference books. Before starting Toucan, Robert was a management consultant; he has also been an editor at Reader's Digest Books. He holds an MBA from London Business School.

Ellen Dupont, Managing Director

Before joining Toucan in 2002, Ellen was Head of Books at Marshall Cavendish, Publishing Director at Brown Reference Group and Editorial Director at Marshall Editions. Ellen was born in Boston and educated at Brown University; she has lived in the UK for 25 years.
